STONEHENGE SPECIAL ACCESS TOURS 2013
Want to be one of the
few people to walk amongst the inner stone circle at
Stonehenge?
We have finalised
our special access tours to Stonehenge in summer 2013 which take place in the afternoon or
evening. You will be picked up from Salisbury
City centre and we will make our way to the circle
via Durrington Walls.
If you
are staying in London and want to take advantage of
these rare tours to the inner circle of Stonehenge the journey can be made by train giving you time to spend in the beautiful city of Salisbury.

Our
special access tours will show you more than just Stonehenge. You will learn how older monuments may have
influenced its development.
The inner circle tours to Stonehenge take place in
the evening, after the stones have closed to the
public and the itinerary is:
- Leave
Salisbury in the late afternoon.
- See the site of the recently discovered Bluestonehenge
- Visit Woodhenge and
Durrington Walls where the builders of Stonehenge
are believed to have lived.
- Hear about the exciting
archaeological discoveries made by the Stonehenge
Riverside Project during the last few years.
- See the
Cursus, and take a walk along the Avenue and get one of
the most interesting views of Stonehenge
- Special access tour
around the centre of Stonehenge circle after it is closed
to the public
- Visit all the sites seem in the PBS program Secrets of Stonehenge.
The cost for the
following Stonehenge Special Access Tour is just £85 per person and this
includes transport from Salisbury City Centre and
entrance to Stonehenge with a full guided tour.(NB. In winter ie Dec/Jan/Feb/March the itinerary is reversed ie starting with special access and finishing at Durrington Walls as these are early morning tours). Dates are:

London. Pat Shelley is the guide, but they are operated by another company. There are 3 Tours with various pick up
points in London as follows;

outside London Dungeon; Kings Cross; Baker St; Victoria; South Kensington; Earls Ct. Precise meeting point is included with your booking.
